The leading carrier to Africa, and Morocco’s national airline, Royal Air Maroc connects Africa with all corners of the globe via its hub in Casablanca.

Royal Air Maroc serves 101 destinations with regular flights from the capital cities of Europe, South America, Africa, the Maghreb and the Middle East. There are seven weekly flights from Heathrow to Casablanca, seven from Gatwick to Casablanca and two weekly flights from Manchester. There are two weekly flights from Heathrow to Rabat.

Royal Air Maroc is also the first (and only) African airline part of OneWorld.

Lafontaine PR was appointed in early 2020 as Royal Air Maroc’s communications agency in the UK and has received a series of campaign briefs.

The first campaign targeted the Visiting Friends & Relatives (VFR) market, the community of expats from Western Africa, to boost sales for spring and summer. The campaign was developed around the strong emotive theme of “Re-connect” – re-connecting with friends and family, home food and local cultures and family traditions that we have all missed so much in the last years. With creative strategy, identity and assets developed by sister agency gt&i, the campaign is a fully integrated communications campaign which includes influencer outreach, public and trade relations and digital advertising, all overseen by Lafontaine PR.
